FSF-CA Train Brigade at Fort Carson

Recently one of the Mobius’ Foreign Security Forces – Combat Advisor (FSF-CA) exportable training teams spent almost three straight weeks training the 3rd Brigade, 4th Infantry Division (3-4) from Fort Carson Colorado. This Brigade will soon be deploying to Iraq as a Security Force and Assist Brigade (SFAB) as our army continues with stability and support operations in Iraq. Our employees, known as Cultural leader Trainers, CLTs for short, provide a critical function to the SFAB commanders and their staff officers.

Part cultural advisors, part Iraqi military trainers, our CLTs provide extremely realistic training solutions to the 3-4 officers by Role Playing in a series of extremely difficult, progressive and sequential engagements. Each engagement is followed by an After Action Review (AAR) to teach the finer points these officers will soon be facing regarding the complexities of the Iraqi Army, culture, politics, social, tribal and economic issues.

After the changing of training phases required to team to travel from Fort Polk, LA to Fort Carson, CO the team finally was able to enjoy a well deserved break to take in a few of the local sites. Upon a the successful completion of this training event, and with the help of their local guide Edward Diaz the team was able to visit the Garden of the Gods, and The Royal Gorge, which is the world’s highest suspension bridge.
